Each year on the morning of the 1st May students gather on Magdalen Bridge (After an all night party) to the voices of choir singing from the tower of Magdalen College. It became a tradition for some of the students to jump into the river from the bridge, but due to a lot of injuries, the police now closes the bridge.
Walking to work on May day morning is quite an entertaining experience, watching the students heading home after what must have been a loooong night!
